Do you want to treat your guests with fine cuisine but would rather not spend your free time in the kitchen and in line at the grocery store? Let us take care of the details so that you can be a guest at your own party.
Our clients generally are those who want to offer their guests something truly special by hosting an elegant gourmet dinner party for friends, family, or business associates in the comfort and convenience of their own home. The benefits of Rent Your Chef in-home dinner service include spending quality time entertaining your guests and serving exceptional cuisine in the relaxation of your home, thus offering a unique and pleasurable experience for you and your company.
Our service consists of preparing the gourmet meals in your home, helping serve the courses, cleaning up afterwards, and quietly departing while your guests are enjoying dessert.
As an alternative, I can be the "Invisible Chef", preparing gourmet selections in advance, with instructions on heating and presentation techniques for you to follow before your guests arrive.
Pricing for Gourmet Chef Service (minimum 4 people):
Four Course Meal @ $110. per person, consisting of Appetizer, Salad, Entrée & Dessert
(selections are chosen from our detailed Gourmet Menu)
Five Course Meal @ $120. per person, consisting of Appetizer, Soup, Salad, Entrée & Dessert
Price is calculated on a per person basis depending on the type of event and the complexity of the menu. Ingredients and special menu planning may affect the final cost.
Dinner parties consisting of five or more guests will require an Assistant to help serve and assist in the kitchen.
Dinner parties consisting of twelve or more guests will require two Assistants to help serve and assist in the kitchen.

PERSONAL CHEF SERVICE
A Personal Chef is a qualified professional taking care of most of your meal planning, groceries and cooking.
As your Personal Chef, I will bring my unique service to your home and prepare meals for you and your family in the safety and comfort of your own home. Our Personal Chef Service can accommodate a wide array of meal choices, from simple elegance to gourmet selections.
Rent Your Chef will arrange a client assessment consultation with you, in person, by phone or e-mail. Together, we will identify your menu choices with specific attention to individual tastes, food preferences, special dietary needs and nutritional goals. After the personal consultation, Chef Michael will develop a menu to meet your specific needs. Once you have approved the menu, your Chef will arrange a cooking day in your home.
Rent Your Chef is open to suggestions and willing to work with you to ensure an enjoyable culinary experience!
Rent Your Chef provides everything required to prepare your meals, including groceries, cookware, and utensils, then cooks, packages, labels and stores the finished entrées in your refrigerator or freezer, with reheating instructions, to be enjoyed at your convenience. We will leave your kitchen in the same condition as upon arrival.

Pricing for Standard Menu Plan:
20 entrées with appropriate side dishes – will serve a family of four for five meals, two people for ten meals, or a single person for twenty meals = $360. This plan enables you to choose 5 entrées (four servings each) from our detailed Personal Chef Service Menu.
10 entrées with appropriate side dishes (suited more for a two person household, or a single) – will serve two people for five meals, or a single person for ten meals = $185. This plan enables you to choose 3 different entrées from our detailed Personal Chef Service Menu. Available for local delivery only.
Rent Your Chef has extensive experience with gourmet cuisine and would be pleased to accommodate clients interested in such options. Pricing on these items would be individualized.
 CULINARY ARTISTRY DEMONSTRATIONS
Chef Michael discusses and demonstrates your personally designed 3-course menu. Attractive dishes will be prepared to illustrate technique, and recipes will be provided. The finale is the tasting that follows your group session in the kitchen with Chef Michael. Prices start at $75. per person and are calculated on an individual basis, depending on the type of event, and complexity of the menu.
Whether enthusiastic novices or dedicated culinarians, Rent Your Chef's personal instruction classes are selected to help guests achieve new culinary heights. Classes are designed to inspire professional results and foster creativity as they explore new cuisines and learn new techniques with help from Chef Michael.
Rent Your Chef classes bring a cooking school experience to your home. Chef Michael will demonstrate professional skills and provide hands-on training on the latest culinary techniques, presentation skills and entertaining tips for use in your home. Classes range from savory appetizers, French sauces, elaborate entrées, sumptuous desserts and Garde Manger, the art of garnishing.
Weekend and evening group courses are available. Classes are on an individual basis or in small groups, a minimum of 6 people required.
Private Cooking Lessons
We will customize private cooking lessons, designed to meet your specific requests. Private lessons start at $120. per hour (minimum of 3 hours), and will include all ingredients and a sit down 3-course meal. Additional food cost surcharges may apply based upon market price food selections, complexity of the menu, and number of people dining.

Add a French touch and surprise your loved one. Valentine's Day, anniversaries, engagements . . . or just an intimate
dinner for any occasion. Prices begin at $325. per couple for a five-course dinner. Ingredients and special menu planning may affect the final cost.
• HOLIDAY PREP SERVICE
Rent Your Chef will prepare your holiday dinner and package the meals for storage in your refrigerator. On the day of your event, simply follow the detailed reheating instructions we leave with you. $50./hr. + cost of groceries.
• MENU PLANNING/CONSULTATION
Designing for culinary establishments requires knowledge of details. Just as a foundation is to a building, a properly designed menu or meal will support the challenges of your business. Let your personal consultant help you with the implementation or redevelopment of your menu, with Chef Michael's strong base of culinary knowledge.
Consultation fees begin at $50. hourly, depending on services rendered.
